1932年，“一二八(ba)事变(bian)”爆发，中日签订(ding)《上海停战協定》。上海爱国民族资本家(jia)云在天(tian)深感中日之间(jian)必将大战，于是暗中变卖(mai)家产，筹得一批黄金，想要送(song)到抗日队伍中去；不料此举被日本人发现，云在天舍生取義，被日本人暗杀。云在天之子云飞(fei)岳为完成父亲(qin)的遺愿，在身为共产党员(yuan)的弟弟云飞川(chuan)的引导下，先后結識了地下党梅怡和、宋瑾、阿(e)汉(han)等人。在他们的感召之下，云飞岳加入了共产党，并在上海地下党的帮助下，成功地将黄金送到了抗日队伍手中 。
